I won't buy it. And I may not even buy a hunting license anymore. When I don't think I'm getting anything for my money, I don't spend the money.
Don’t you own the land you hunt? If so no way in hell I’d by either one, and I’d throw out as much corn as I wanted. Hell, I'd build a still and open a gambling house with and upstairs parlor too. Your land and all. Dang sure wouldn’t be paying any taxes or fees to own it, either!

I have never heard so many people bitching about a $15 dollar fee. Ridiculous! If you don't want to do it then do not, but quit complaining about the ones who will. We will run six 600lb feeders year round with protein pellets and corn mixed. We will plant our regular 5 way in the fall and mixed crops in the spring. We will all pay the $15 and not think twice about it. I could pay a 1000 for it but it ain't the amount that's my problem with it . We just had a gas tax put on us . They got the property tax past here in Elmore county . They keep laying taxes on us left and right . My question to you and others is , when is it ok to complain ?

Yeah I’m with you 700, whether I bait or not I’m paying the $15 just to have the piece of mind that I can’t be ticketed for hunting over bait Chucky is depending on the idiots like you.

when is it ok to complain ? I'd say when it's something you "have" to pay. Nobody has to pay this. If 15 bucks chaps your ass that bad just don't put out any bait and don't pay the fee. Seems simple to me.

Guess that depends on your definition of idiot. In my opinion spending $15 to not worry about a $300 ticket and possibly losing my security clearance because of a game wardens discretion isn’t bad. I’ll stick with my judgment on this one, I’ve done pretty good so far going that route, hahahahahaha.

Because the 15 dollars is nothing and as I mentioned in my first post totally optional if you simply choose not to bait.

And there is why things are like it is . When the raise it 10 , oh hell it's just another 10 Then it would be 25 dollars that you still don't have to pay.

Why should we have to pay it ? You don't. It is not a requirement to hunt in Alabama. It is only required if you want to legally use bait.

Well guess I gotta buy it either way to cover my ass. Not gonna be excited to pay a ticket if I ain't even baiting. Yep. Folks will buy the license just to cover their hind end. Guys like me will get to buy four of them (or at least supposed to) for me and my three boys. That’s how they will make their money off this mess.

If it was 15 a feeder would that be ok . If you hunted three place with the total of 10 feeders would you pay the 150 a year ? It's all in where you draw the line . I draw mine at 15 a year

Just another $153 added to the overall cost of us hunting in Alabama. That's just a small fee for the kids and I to have the peace of mind in not knowing if someone may have put some bait out and forgot to tell everyone.
