Who is better between the two in y’all’s opinion? I'm watching the Alan Jackson documentary on axs tv and I'm going with Alan. Besides his song writing ability he can also sing Gospel and bluegrass just as good as his country music. I'm a huge GS fan and have seen him in concert many of times but like I said I'm going with Alan. Was that the Small Town Southern Man documentary?
I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!

George and it’s not even close.
When they were both in their prime it’s like comparing Chris Stapleton to Luke Bryan now.
Good analogy

Too close to call for me. I’ve got AJ’s Who I Am CD in my truck radio right now. But George’s CD’s are in the console!

Idk about the documentary, but the song sounds like Blake Shelton feat. FAga line version 1.0

I saw GS a couple of times singing barns around Houston, before he made it big. I remember seeing him in honky tonks around Houston then later at the Big livestock show. Bout caused a riot one night in Gilleys.

I will be honest Id rather go see Alan any day. On paper George wins, but concert wise, Alan Jackson by far for me.
I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

It was interesting to see what a struggle it was for Alan to get a record deal. Told by many in the industry that his style of country music wasn’t what the fans wanted to hear. Today I wonder who were the idiots that decided he is washed up. Probably some of the same ones that said he wouldn’t make it.

AJ. GS didn’t write any of his own songs And I'm pretty sure his guitar was more part of his "outfit" than an instrument....went to a GS concert several yrs back and and he barely played it all night, just held it. Probably has had the same set of strings since 1997.
