give me some reviews on this place.. will be in madison on the weekend of the 21st all weekend for a ball tournament and needing a good country place to eat....

Usually the best hushpuppies you will ever eat. But the time before last they were not right. Great catfish. Hamburger steak is good. I usually get the seafood platter though. It is in my rotation of go to places! And there is another thread about Huntsville eats.

Well worth the drive just for the hush puppies... Jazz 'em up with some white sauce or rib sauce.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

I like tarter sauce and a bite of onion with mine. But they have a good amount of onion in them.

Not a country place, but Rosie’s is my go to in Huntsville. I judge Mexican restaurants by how they compare to Rosie’s.

I'm not a fan of the Greenbrier place. I tried it 3 or 4 times trying to justify the reports from those that love the place. I won't take the detour off i565 to go up there nor would I stop in if I was up there already.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

There was a 3 or 4 year period I didn't go. It got bad. When I tried it again it was really good. Just seems like the busy times it is really good and the off hours it isn't. I just wish everybody could make hushpuppys like they do when they are good. I'll take my chances or go to Libby's or Catfish Cabin. Heck McCollums was the same way.

Rosie’s is NOT Mexican food What is it? Americanized Mexican, next time you’re in Huntsville and want real Mexican go to El Cazador. Libby’s is the best catfish place around Madison If you want a good southern place hit Mia’s Cafe or Blue Plate Cafe
