One of the two best bird taxidermist in the country has a shop just north of you on Hwy 72. Shame Smith (Artistic Compositions) in Bridgeport. Stop by and see his showroom, it is seriously nice. He has done 1 Eastern for me and he has an Osceola of mine right now. Buddy's Osceola Another buddy's Goulds

Nice mount Solo...when is the Osceola supposed to be ready? He called me before Christmas and said it was a week or two out. Should be ready anyday now. I'll post up some pics.... The Osceola is going to be full strut on the ground with the head upright and alert.

Is there a big price difference in the pose (flying, strut, half strut)? I've heard that Shane is really expensive but I think it would be worth the price for the mount to look as lifelike as possible for as long as possible. No price difference with Shane. Pricing is on the website. http://www.waterfowler.net/Artistic/index.php

I've killed some really nice ones in the past that I wish now that I would have had mounted. I'm finally gonna follow through with it and have more than just a picture and a memory.
