It is Good experience staying at the Moderate and Deluxe resorts. Me and My wife have stayed at The Yacht Club, The Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Fort Wilderness Lodge, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans, Old Key West And We Enjoyed them all. With that being said Disney has become insanely expensive. This past Late Nov. thru Early Dec. we went on a Cross Country vacation to California and back for 3 weeks and seen and done a ton of things. We spent just a little more in 3 weeks going on a Cross Country vacation than spending 5 days at Disney World in a Deluxe Resort With Deluxe dining plan. We plan to go to Disney World in 2021 for the 50th Anniversary but I prefer to go out West to Yellowstone or Somewhere out in the Mountains Out West.

we stayed at carribean beach last year for a week, went through a agent with Disney. Got all meal plans, park hopper, basically everything for about $4300.00 with a group of 4. Best week I have ever spent with the family. The pool and slides were a plus for the nights we wanted to swim. Other than that we were only at our room to sleep.

I would choose two Chuck Norris ass whippings, and get horse kicked in the balls, before I'd go to Disney-anything.

I know where You are coming from Outback. It has gotten to be way to many people there for us to enjoy a Vacation that costs a lot of money with way too many people trying to enjoy the same thing.

Got to be smart about it. I think during that whole week we only had to wait in 2 lines. My fiancé had the fastpass gig down pat. It's all about having it timed ride with the rides with the fastpass.

If you find me at Disney just go ahead and gut shoot me cause I'll be brain-dead in a wheelchair anyway.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

Watch out at Epcot, they've had rabies reported there.

Wife and I are going in September and staying in the Caribbean resort on-site and can't wait. We booked through an agent with all the meal plans and such. We wanted to experience it ourselves before we have kids. Late september seems to be a great time that is fairly slow.

Going this week right before Christmas. Since I had one daughter graduate this year and another next year, the girls let me combine both their senior trips. Staying at pop century. The prices have jumped up. We have stayed at Wilderness lodge and animal kingdom before. When I park the car at the resort I don't get in it till we leave for home

Other than the blisters on my feet from stupidly buying new tennis shoes to wear, my families week at Disney World was a wonderful experience. I'd go back tomorrow if I had the coin to waste. If you can't go to DW and have fun you've got to be a miserable person. EVERYBODY that works there is smiling. They may all be stoned or something, but they're smiling.

You should call or go online and check prices/offers now. Disney just released a Free Dining offer two days ago, in which the dining plan is free with your stay. Availability is limited, but does cover the time you're going. Could be an opportunity to save some coin.

Agree completely. I completely forget about the outside world at Disney. It's refreshing.

We’ve done both. I enjoyed staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Get the dining plan. You’ll enjoy yourself more if you’re not reaching for your wallet every time you eat.

Go in October. It’s not miserably hot.
But it’s still warm enough to swim.
The food and wine festival will be going at Epcot and the not so scary Halloween party at Magic Kingdom.
All that said, my kids are grown and I don’t plan to go back.
