I haven't seen anything to convince me, but I don't have access to most of their research. What I do know is that Lovett Williams thought a later season would do more harm than good. The more that hunters spook setting hens off the nests, the more nests will be abandoned. I have personally witnessed this, so I know it will happen. I haven't read of any concern about this lately. All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
