talked to a fella I know in Bibb Co that has a doe on his place showing signs of EHD. I have not been getting bit by the damn midges so far and no signs of EHD....so far.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Strange to me the wardens in North bama try to keep a lid on this mess. Skyline has been hit really hard by this crap but to hear them tell it that don't happen here.why?

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

We got drilled about 10 years ago in Bibb county. Didn’t realize they hit the deer that hard down south. EHD kills deer in every county every year, usually in low numbers, but not always. EHD killed prolly 40+% of the deer in Liberty Park around 1994 or so.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Last year was bad around Hamilton seems to be not be to bad this year but there is still time. I talked to a couple of guys around Moulton that have gotten hammered already.

It was chest high briers until they thinned again last fall.

A lot of times EHD seems to run in seven year cycles. Damn ,,, don't say that last one broke my heart . It's hell to watch bucks grow and then bam you got 9 deer you never see again .

I’ve never seen it nor heard of it being around me. Thankfully.
Only poor deer I’ve ever seen were older does with 2-3 fawns and they were run down.....
Hope it stays that way
