I shot it once it turned broadside it’s knees folded and buckled then it fell over. Started kicking and I kept the gun on it. It put a leg down and started to push up and I gave him one more because my first one wasn’t leaving or getting away. After that shot he agreed with me. It was important to me to use this gun because my dad left it to me and I was determined to take my first deer with it. I know a lot of y’all have them fancy scopes, but this 3x9 Tasco got the job done. My son took his second, third, and fourth deer with the same gun. His first was a small doe with a Remington 870 (youth stock) and buckshot.

Small 7 point chasing a doe back and forth cross the trail in front of me. He finally stopped giving me a perfect 100 yard broadside shot. Dropped him like a ugly blind date. Only "bad" thing about the experience was the largest 13 point crossed the same trial about 10 minutes after I shot this one. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Booger Picker Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 7,068 Tuscaloosa	Remington 1100 12ga, mod barrel, #1 2 3/4" buckshot in 1987 on a dog drive on the edge of the Okefenokee swamp in Homerville, Ga. 1 shot at about 50 yds. Buckshot hit him from his head to his guts. He was a 7pt GO NOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
