mine is a beater gun that I let rust like a SOB when i was a teenager. it gets tossed around and beat up but its old faithful rem 700 270 with a synthetic stock. I just call the rust my Cerakote finish and keep it maintained so it doesn't get any worse. I'd like to get it dipped but havent made it a priority yet

Favorite is an old Classic Rem 700 in 270Win with a Leupold 3.5X10
most used lately is a 1960's Rem 700 BDL in 243 with a youth fiberglass stock and a Leupold 3X9
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

But have really been liking my Encore Prohunter in .300 win mag.

When paired with the Hornady 143gr ELD-X, that is an extremely lethal combination. I shot a Ruger M77 270 for years and years, then a Thompson Center ICON in .308 and both were great set-ups, but really liking my current set-up.
