I don't mind summer heat and humidity so for me to say this is rare: It's really f'king hot out there today. Y'all be smart and stay hydrated.

I dont get this new feels like temp. "Its 96 but feels like 103" I keep hearing this on the radio. If its 96 then it feels 96. If it feels 103 then its 103 I cant grasp both as temperature is measured by feeling. I dont get it

Nothing new about it. Heat index in the summer and wind chill in the winter.

Yeah. It's a load of crap. If it is 97 then it feels like 97. If its 17 and windy then it's 17 and windy...If we are gonna start going by "feels like" then just throw away the thermometer. It's a pet peave I have. A commy liveral made that crap up.

it figures in the humidity in high humidity your sweat cant evaporate so it feels hotter than what is on the thermometer they used to just say its 96° with 60% humidity but now theyve dumbed it down for us and say its 96 but feels like 112. it doesnt take a genius to figure if its 32° and windy its harder to stay warm either but its still only 32° I think some people have to be told everything like littke kids or they cant function

There is nothing new about this. I heard this 30 years ago. It is the dewpoint being factored in, thus creating what feels like a hotter temp with the heat index compared to the actual temp.

If you've never walked outside and thought "Damn, it feels like it's probably more than 100 degrees" when it's 92, that's the deal. It's an actual thing.

But to your point, yeah, hot is hot.

Many people today are more stupid than ever despite having easy availability to more methods of learning. Plus, it's television. They dumb down everything.

Absolutely - both of these are correct.

Especially when it comes to the weather. And weather Apps. Don’t get me started. And calling out weather guys in the summer when a pop up shower situation misses a location. Can’t tolerate it.

I've been in Iraq when the mercury hit 130 and it didn't feel any worse than today right here in Alabama. I've been in Wyoming when it was 90 degrees and I would have guessed it was around 70 degrees. So I don't give a crap what you think about the temperature, it's phugging miserable here in in hell. I actually enjoyed summer in Iraq better than Alabama. I've been all over the globe and I can tell you (as far as heat is concerned) that Alabama is the 3rd worst hellhole on the planet. Surpassed only by Texas and Louisiana.

My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Alexandria, Louisiana, to be more precise. One of the hottest places I've ever been in my life.

Port Arthur, TX... Ranks number one in my opinion. The absolute most miserable place I've ever been.

I’ve been doing a topo survey on the runway at Huntsville International. Yesterday was 12 hours and today has been 9.5.... this runway is whooping my tail. It’s so hot lol, plus a toooon Of pressure from the airport to get it done so fast, no breaks but 30 min lunch, I’m happy to be leaving today!
