Why would you want to fire the coach? He is supposed to be getting them ready to play football games in Alabama. I am just saying this is an extreme example today; and why not practice EARLY. They have lights; and it will still be hot and humid for conditioning. I don't believe in coddling the athletes and I am no stranger to heat; I worked on the U.S. Pipe and Foundry blast furnace in the summers to pay for college in the '70's. We walked around molten iron and slag like it was hot water and out boot soles melted. But; we got all the salt pills you wanted. Pre-OSHA; dirty, HOT and dangerous. People died
