I’m glad that I have a job now that doesn’t beat and abuse me in the summer. I don’t know that I’ve actually sweat this summer at work and now that I’m Operating our Control Room I wear a long sleeve shirt for most of my shift. We keep it ice cold in there.

The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

We just got thru taking down 3 decent cedar trees . Started at 630am finished at 1130. The climber had a rough go at it. Dragging brush, cutting and stacking wasn't fun either. Needless to say that the trailer is still loaded and will stay that way til tomorrow. I see a dump trailer in tmy future equipment list. August in Bama, got to love it. Stay safe and hydrated y'all.

You guys working outdoors can't drink enough fluids. Lots of water and something with electryolytes - Powerade, even Pedialyte - will help keep you going. Salt helps your cells retain water. Dehydration is a bad deal. Be smart.

I got down to my camp this morning just before 8. Did some work and glad I had to be at work by 1. It was brutal by 930. You know it's gonna be a hot day when you get a heat advisory alert on your phone at 5am that it doesn't expire until 9pm. Days like today make me glad I didn't become a forester. Cruising timber in this hell ain't my idea of a good day.

I dont dilute it any but it will keep you from cramping. A few shots at night and some pickles will keep you going.
