Listen to 2dogs and ODO. Folks waste a lot of time hunting over scrapes that are 1) not remotely close to bedding 2) have gone cold and 3) are only being worked at night.
My 2 best bucks were killed within 30 yards of multiple hot scrapes in or adjacent to very thick cover.
Yep. The only mature deer I have ever seen on a scrape during daylight was next to thick cover or in thick cover.
