I was a serious Tikka fan until I shot a Kimber Hunter. Unless I get a smoking deal on a Tikka, I would only buy Kimber.

Consider that you have now. I have shot 9 different Kimber Hunter models now, and all would shoot sub-MOA with factory ammo, 3 shots from a cold bore. Several of those would put the first two in the same hole, with the third about 1/2" away.

More shots than that might open up a bit, but it is a really light rifle with a thin barrel profile. I shot one in .257 Roberts that weighed 6 lbs 3 oz with a Swarovski 2.5-10 x 42 mm scope (30mm tube) in Talley Lightweight mounts.

Recoil was very light, probably due to stock design.
