I firmly believe that a man can live long enough, never shoving a garden hose up his ass. My doctor said we need to schedule a colonoscopy and I said don't bother. I don't need that.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

That parody with the talking box is almost as good as the SNL Christmas box skit.

Had one about 4 months ago. Prep was bad about three hours at home. Worst part of the whole deal was laying on a gurney in the hallway for 30 minutes.... fell asleep. woke me up took me in theprocedure room, laid on my side and started counting to 10.... got to 7 and I took a nice nap and woke up in recovery to my smiling wife. Easy peasy .

When fentanyl was THE drug to put us under the wake up was the most amazing, restful feeling that a human can ever have. I completely understand why MJ liked that stuff so much that it killed him. This new crap that they use SUCKS!
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Took my wife for a colonoscopy Monday. She was in shear damn misery for 24 hours prior, during the prep phase. And then we spent 5 DAMN HOURS AT THE FRIGGING HOSPITAL!!! AIN'T NO WAY I'M DOING THAT! I had my first colonoscopy in 2012 at 48 years old, after my dad needlessly died from colon cancer. He had Outback's completely incorrect viewpoint, and paid for it with his life. Gone way too soon at 72 years old. My cancer was advanced enough at age 48 that they had to do a resection of my colon to get all the cancer. Spent 6 days in the hospital after a 7 hour surgery. I've had a few since then, all clear, and will have them as needed for the rest of my life. I won't miss a scheduled colonoscopy, and I suggest that the rest of you don't either. Not saying the prep is fun, but it's not much worse than a bad case of diarrhea, and the sleep while it is going on is the best you will ever have. Or, you can decide that you have already lived enough and that the next 20 years doesn't really matter and not go. Your choice.

There are times that I'm truly amazed at what comes out of your mouth, but this is America and your are free to voice your opinion, good luck in the rest of your life and hope your family is spared the same grief that Uncle huck's family endured, from you being a tough SOB.

I'm having one next week. I want to live as long as I can for my family and self. I sure don't want to be thinking to myself, "I wish I had done that earlier"

There is a book entitled "World without cancer" & is written by G.Edward Griffin. You can order it on Amazon. I highly suggest you folks get this book, read it & then apply it to your lives.

The prep is clear liquids, then drink this not so great tasting stuff to finish cleaning your system out and lots of time on the toilet. When you go in, they place an IV line so they can sedate you after they give you an enema (take as much as you can stand and hold it for as long as you can stand it before expelling it). Then, they take you into the procedure room, sedate you, and essentially stick a tiny camera up your poop chute looking for any abnormalities. Sometimes they will go ahead and remove any polyps they see while they are in there.
It is usually recommended beginning at at 50 unless you have a family history of colon cancer.
I think I covered it all.
