I hate all the hype and embellishment from the news people everytime a storm blows up but lord knows, nobody wants any hurricane, or even a tropical storm for that matter, rolling up in their front yard. There are some very densely populated areas along that stretch of the FL coast and it could be catastrophic if it makes landfall in 3-4 very specific areas down that way. Praying it hooks east.

I got my generator going after changing oil. Damn bolt wouldn't come off. Thank goodness for PB blaster. And I welcomed my new next door neighbors who have never experienced a hurricane and moved here from Alabama. They've never put shutters up before. I'll put mine up tomorrow. Just glad I got the oil change done on generator. Surprised how easy it was and I'm not mechanically inclined so it's a miracle. Hopefully, it doesn't hit. Better to be prepared.
