There's a new update coming out any minute, but this NHC forecast from 10pm last night pretty clearly shows it still moving mostly to the west until about 8pm tonight, then making its turn. I have no doubt it’s going to turn north, but I’m questionable on when and to the extent they say. The only hurricane I’ve ever been in was because of how ridiculously wrong the NHC was, even a few hours before landfall they missed it by a huge margin and we had to ride out a hurricane that was predicted to make landfall hundreds of miles from where it did.

Four of them hit the US mainland (Florence, Alberto, Gordon, and Michael). Below that are the NHC's predictions for each storm DAYS ahead of landfall.
