It has been sitting on the northern Bahamas for a long time now, almost two days. They must be underwater and wiped out.
Hope this thing moves away from our coastline and out to sea. Ya storm that size moving 1mph gotta be a ton of rain on top of surge

Ya storm that size moving 1mph gotta be a ton of rain on top of surge And the wind/flying debris continuously grinding everything like an orbital sander barely moving. I've never heard of one stalling like this for so long. Can you imagine being on a Spanish galleon in the 1500s and sail into something like this? And there's bound to be some old treasure exposed by all this.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Has anybody seen how wide the eye of this storm actually is? I have googled it and can’t find an answer. Been wondering the same thing. In 1992 I was in Guam and we had a direct hit from Supertyphoon Omar. The eye came directly over and took an hour to pass. I don't remember how wide it was but if you had been sleeping and just woke up at that point you would have never known that a storm was anywhere within hundreds of miles.

Look at the thunderstorms flaring up over the gulf coast side of Florida. Thats impressive. Only the biggest storms do that. Funny you should say that...I was just telling 'Huntress a couple days ago how surprised I was that Dorian is as small as it is, to be so powerful...most hurricanes, especially the major ones, fill the entire GOM basin when they enter. This one wouldn't fill a quarter of it. It's actually a very compact storm.

Haiti is, and always has been, a chitthole in need of a BIG bomb.

Haiti is, and always has been, a chitthole in need of a BIG bomb. Spent some time there in the mid to late 80's. You are correct. $hithole!
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.
