Fred’s wasn’t a bad store. Well at least not the one in Greenville. When I used to hunt in Butler county that Freds was my go to store if We needed anything at camp. A heck of a lot better than going in the Greenville Walmart

Fred's in greenville was stocked right. One here in Luverne is hit and miss. Some good people here though.

In 1970s & early 80s most Fred's sold guns & had a decent hunting & fishing section.

There's one here in Guntersville and one in Waynesboro TN on the way to deer camp. I've never been in either one but I hate for those jobs to be lost.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Fred's typically hired good regular folk to run their stores. The big problem they had was keeping things stocked, and a lot or most of the basic stuff they sold was really cheap crap that would break or become trash not long after being bought. I think we went through 2 Freds electric can-openers before we just ordered one that wouldnt break from Amazon.

We had one for awhile north of Madison, but it's been gone.
