Sorry to hear marsh...evrrytime I think about how much some guys I know made on a bumper crop makes me want to...then I see reality and just can't take that plunge..like fuzzy said glad it's on your decision anyway

Hate that Marsh. I don’t know if you have any interest in continuing to farm but if you own land and want to do something with it, cows are just about as cheap right now as they’ll get. Good time to buy in.

I do own a little land. As a matter of fact I let one of my real good friends that gave up farming last year put a fence around some of it. He just bought 17 bred heifers and put on it. I’m thinking of getting 2-3 to put in there with his just for butcher calf and maybe sell 1 or 2. If he lets me bring it is his fence. rofl

like the ostrich "market" (or lack there of), there is no processing infrastructure for hemp...we can grow as much as we can, but with no processing plants to take it to what good is it to grow? it is all front end $$$$ input with no back end $$$$ return. infrastructure (ex: field equipment to plant and harvest or co2 extraction system) has to come first, or at least simultaneously.
