Not sure this qualifies as minor, but I'll tell it anyways. Playing 3rd base and the batter crushes a grounder. Ball hits a rock and takes nasty hop head on into my right index finger while I was covering the top of my glove to prevent it from bouncing out of my glove and into my face. Picture a ball trying to go in between your nail and your finger. That's what happened. It flipped my nail up 90 degrees from my finger. Everytime my heart beat, blood would surge out. I got very light headed and nauseous from the pain. That was some serious pain.

Worst self inflicted one... About 30 years ago, I cut out an ingrown toenail with a pair of scissors. I cut the tip of the nail about 1/4 the way across, locked down some needle nosed vise grips on it and pulled back towards my ankle with one sharp motion. It pulled that 1/4 of my big toenail slap out all the way to the root. That smarted pretty good, but no more ingrown toenail.

Almost cut my big toe off cutting a bank with a lawn mower when I was 15. I slipped cutting down a slope and it snatched up the rear of the mower. my right shoe and big toe stopped the blade and mower dead like you’d hit a cinderblock. It cut right into my shoe and most of the end 1/4 of the big toe. It was sewn back on.

So Saturday I was installing a security camera system up at the cabin. I was in flip flops. I had to stand up on my toes to reach where I wanted one of the cameras. For some reason a yellow jacket decided that he wanted to fly in the space between my foot and my flip flop. Well, when I put my heel back down it felt like a red hot poker was shoved in the soft part of my foot. Of course I pulled my foot out to see what the hell was going on and found the dead yellow jacket. "Damn!"

Well now that sucker is itching so bad I want to take my pocket knife out and dig a hole in the bottom of my foot.

Saw a dude take a taser probe to the taint. Not sure what was worse: the taser itself, or me pulling it out while the rest took pictures and laughed.

Was riding around with a bunch of friends and our girlfriends one night, with most of us drinking...I think the only one not drinking was the driver. After several beers and shots, several of us were getting the full bladder feeling and had to take a leak. The girl driving pulled into an apartment complex parking lot and those that had to pee all jumped out and began watering the trees. The girl that was driving started to pull off and everyone ran to jump back in the car...I was still peeing. Once I finished, I started putting everything back in place and zipped up my pants...it was then that I realized I hadn't gotten everything back in and had got the skin of my pecker caught in my zipper. I don't know which hurt worse...zipping it up or unzipping it.

When I was in The Army, we were shooting our M60 Machine Guns on a range one day. When you shoot an M60 for a while, the barrel starts to glow and needs to be changed. There’s a spare barrel and an asbestos glove included in an accessory bag. The assistant gunner grabbed the glowing barrel without putting on the asbestos glove. I’ll never forget how loud he screamed and the smell of his burning flesh on the barrel. He was hospitalized for quite a while and required extensive surgeries.
