Always caught 'em with a tiny rooster tail, for numbers. Maybe a soft plastic for size.

This, i use to love being dropped off at my favorite creek in the morning and being picked up 12 miles later that evening.

Small Beatle spin or roostertail. Those two will catch just about any fish in a small creek.

H&H spinner bait. Chartreuse and some other color mixed or red with brown. When you attach the hook turn it so it will be up when swimming, more weedless.

For an all purpose lure a rooster tail is hard to beat wading creeks. For bass, I’ve had a lot of good luck using texas rigged soft plastics with no weight.

Texas rigged slider worms little to no weight. Good ol’ silver Number 7 rapala. Cricket crank. Rooster tail on a swivel. Arkie spin with a feather tailed jig white head and tail with red eye dot. Silver spinners for sunny days brass and bronze on cloudy

I’m not a creek wader but I bet a light Ned rig would catch.
