Always caught 'em with a tiny rooster tail, for numbers. Maybe a soft plastic for size.

Small Beatle spin or roostertail. Those two will catch just about any fish in a small creek.

Texas rigged slider worms little to no weight. Good ol’ silver Number 7 rapala. Cricket crank. Rooster tail on a swivel. Arkie spin with a feather tailed jig white head and tail with red eye dot. Silver spinners for sunny days brass and bronze on cloudy
