I dunno if I’d take him.
He was pretty grumpy in the football forum the other night.
He’d probably mouth off at some bikers or something and get you in a fist fight out west.

I killed my antelope with a pistol on a diy hunt. It scored 78” and some change.

SNS Outfitters is who I’ll be using for my antelope and possibly mule deer combo in Wyoming. One of the guides is my patients.

One point, but that was over 15 years ago.

If you had enough money to do that you wouldn't be hanging around with the likes of us. I don't know about Wyoming but some states reserve a tag for an auction to benefit wildlife causes. $100K or so. Other than that, all of them I've heard of in the USA are by tags.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I'd like to double up on mule deer and antelope. If I could take two rifles, my Model 7 SS in 6mm Rem for the small goats, 1951 Winchester 70 .300 H&H for the bigger ones.

Short answer is no. At least in the lower 48. You can hunt Rocky BH in Alberta with an outfitter and his tags. $30k+. In BC You can hunt either Rocky BH $30k+ or California BH $40k+ With outfitter tags.

You can also hunt Desert BH in Mexico with outfitter/landowner tags. $45k+.

The only way to hunt BH of any sub-specie in the lower 48 is to draw a tag or buy a auction tag and various fund raisers throughout the year. Those generally start at $100k and go up sharply from there. The most expensive one I ever heard of went for $339,500 for the tag.

Keep in mind, the prices i mentioned above don’t guarantee an animal. Just the hunt and the possible opportunity to shoot one.

The cheapest sheep in NA is Dall’s sheep in either the Yukon or Alaska. Those start at $14k ish and go up from there.

Stone Sheep are hunted mostly in northern BC but there are a few hunts in southern Yukon and the SW corner of NWT. Those hunts start at $35k ish.

In theory you can draw a tag without any points. It’s just highly and I mean REALLY HIGHLY unlikely.

There's also the MT unlimited big horn sheep tag.

You gonna need time and the realization that you aren't gonna even see a sheep when you start. But it gives you a chance. A chance in hell, but a chance.
