You can do it with one but that first stick gets my lanyard where it needs to be...makes it alot quicker for me...it can be physical tho. i've re-read your previous post -- so you leave your 1st stick at the bottom of the tree, and just move the 2nd stick up to climb on up the tree? Thats correct...its just how i do it...id still like to have me a lone wolf climber if i dont have to walk far but thats rare for me...and it would help when i get to hunt with a rifle which is rare...theys alot of ways to get up trees...
