Is there a way for me to compare two quarterbacks statistics along with their total minutes played? Burrow looks better on paper and my LSU buddy has won the argument. The only leg I have to stand on is the total minutes played by Burrow vs Tua. C'mon man.

You may just have to concede that Burrows may be better than Tua. He’s having a Heisman season up to this point.

My mind can't correlate that Goat Boy is better than The Golden Pineapple. Just no way.

Time played isn't really all that relevant to qb performance. All you can really look at is stats based off of attempts. Spoiler alert, don't waste your time trying to win your argument based off of stats

If my man played well into the 3rd or 4th quarters, then hell yes that's relevant toward stats. I just don't know that's the case.

Do you think that Goat Boy is better than Tua? I don't especially when you add the receivers around each. Just not a comparison. The problem IMO comes when you add in Bama's porous secondary.

Tua has more arm strength, accuracy, and big wins. Burrow is the flavor of the month and will be humbled against Bama

Yea if you just want to accumulate yardage and tds, then sure time played matters. That's not what scouts and most rational people base performance off of though. It's all based on efficiency and performance per attempt. I don't know which one is better, but they're both damn good. Tua has better receivers which also inflates his numbers in comparison to Burrows receivers.

Not sure what bammers secondary has to do with qb comparisons. Must be the left handed cigarettes

Stats (which this thread is about) say otherwise

Burrow is legit and can damn sure take a hit and keep moving. He’s good. Tua is great and Mac Jones is solid. The question is who shows up against a couple of smash mouth defenses. Can’t anybody on here or any other forum predict that? It’ll be settled on the field.

Not to question your logic, but I'm questioning our logic. If a QB plays more minutes, then they should attempt more passes and complete more of them. How do you not see that as a benefit when looking at stats? Am I wrong or are you a fan of a chitty school who doesn't do math well? No offense of course. I love my Aldeer bros no matter what. Even if you are 270. He's hot.

Do you know how percentages work? 3/4 is better than 60/100

It's funny, 75/100 is also better than 60/100
