If I find him it will be about 2am before I get back to camp. I about flipped our little boat this morning, so it’s going to be tricky to get him across. Boat barely floats with 410 pounds in it. Deer was big bodied and thats why I haven’t said how big he was, hard to tell how big rack is with these big deer. I will put it this way, there was no second guessing on being a shooter for me, but then again I’m no trophy hunter. If the creek is not to wide you might can tie 1 rope to the front and another to the back, let one man cross then the second pull the boat back. Put the deer in and man #1 pulls it across. Man #2 pulls the boat back then crosses. Just a though but wish I would have put it out there while you had 4 hrs to spare.

Don't know if i wouldn't just tie the buck to the side of the boat and float it out?
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
