Shooting deer at 500+ yards isn't "hunting", it's glorified target shooting.

How does the geographic location of the hunt make it any different? to be serious, though.........I do feel like there's a difference in shooting an elk or mule deer at 500yds in a someone open mountain environment, than shooting a deer on a 500yd powerline from a shooting house. Is that rational? probably not. Is it arbitrary, yep. I just call 'em like I see 'em.
