I bought one of these calls a couple days ago. I had trouble getting the right sound out of it at first. I have gotten better an can make a pretty good gobble. I need to work on my conisistency and I'll have another tool for the turkey woods.

I sound pretty good on it.
Took a while, but I finally can make a decent gobble with it. I'm going to use N2deer as a guinea pig during the youth hunt. I am going to walk down the road and get him to tell me if it sounds worth a crap from a couple hundred yards away.

Did you get yours at Marks Outdoors. I was in there the other day buying a SOG knife and my wife a box of Hevi 13's, and he had a pile of them on the shelf and two cases on the floor.

Sounds decent in my truck, I just hope it gets better outside, not worse. I got mine at marks. They had a ton of them. Said a lot of people were complaining about them, saying they couldn't get it down.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

Just be sure to let us know, I about got Evans crawling/ bushwhacking technique down. Lol Seriously I think gobble calls generally sound better when a little farther away.
Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Brian I did get mine from Marks. They actually had a decent price on the call compared to the on-lines stores. I paid $43 for mine and he did have a good supply as you stated.

If a hunter masters this call an plans to use it on public land he better be wearing body armour.

I called a guy across some brutal cutover once on public land, he had that new fangled peacock call, all I had to do was shake the gobble tube. Now I was on a bluff and open for at least 200 yards in all directions behind. It was funny listening to the guy getting excited on that peacock call nothing will beat a friend hearing this on a WMA Who cooks for you, who cooks for you'll"
