anybody tried the Booyah Pip-Zqueek buzzbaits that Zell Rowland designed ? i would like to hear about them, they have what looks like a quick planing head, and a stainless steel cable attaching the hook, so as to make it harder for the fish to throw the lure.

yep, just not these jigs, i have cast jigs and work the bottom with them, but i bought years ago, a heavy action flipping stick where the line eyes come up the side of the rod i believe they call it spiral the one at the tip is on the bottom of the rod, and it is graphite, made by some man since pass, in Ark. and i put a nice reel on it, So this year i put braid on the reel, and i plan to pitch and flip which i have not done a lot of, but once i made my mind up to flip, i bought all kinds of Jigs, different sizes and colors, been reading on it, and practice in the back yard, so i think i am ready to go pitch a jig, not a fit, a jig... smile

I've used a lot of Pradco stuff - worms, hardbaits, wire baits, etc., over the years and know the guys well. Love their products. I recommend a lot of them to a lot of people.

I have used the baits with the steel cable attaching the hook, giving it some flex.

I would not recommend those. They had problems at one point with their "Boogie" chatterbait-style vibrating jib and I believe the spinnerbaits with the wire separating from the body. That was a couple of years ago, like 2-3 years. Maybe they got things straight.

But I quit using them. Just my .02

I think the flexible hook can easily be pushed away rather than hook up.
