Grilled Backstop with jalapenos and a dab of cream cheese is one the best things I can put in my mouth. Piggly Wiggle cant touch that.

i get smoked hickory hunter sticks made out of the entire deer. Expensive but very good. Even the kids love them.

The burger I make myself is better than anything you can buy at the sto. Need to get all the silver skin and any fat off of it, and there are also glands that will make the meat have a funky taste.

Every-time I take my deer to have processed I hand write on the ticket: "Cube the best and grind the rest"
Sometimes I will have my back straps cut into jerky slices to make jerky out of it.
We eat lots of burger at our house (tacos, spaghetti, chili, soups, lasagna, etc.) and we never buy beef burger unless we are having burgers.
Those of you that say deer backstrap is better than steak should go kill yourself. You have clearly never had a good steak if you truly believe that.

I think most folk don’t handle the deer properly after they kill one. This is important. The back strap with Crete cheese and jalepenoes is a favorite at home and camp. Our camp chef makes it then wraps it in conecka bacon and deep fry’s it in peanut oil. But I agree ground venison burgers just ain’t some count. Won’t eat a rutting buck and that’s just about all I shoot

I have had over 150 people tell me that they had rather have my venison sloppy joes than beef sloppy joes.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

I hardly ever use ground venison to make burgers with. We typically use it for tacos, spaghetti, sloppy joes, etc. I also have some deer sausage and it's good but definitely not as good as Tennessee Pride You need to getcha some Jalapeno n Cheddar Burger made, It makes a fine sammich 🤤
