If I see one I will let you know I see those from time to time. I have a bunch of Contender mess I've had for 20+ years so I pay attention when I see things.

Just bought a Remington Model Seven HSS in 7mm - 08. Shot my first handloads for it today, .645 group at 100 yards. I really like the looks of that stock. Glad it's a shooter.

I want to jump into the 6.5 madness, but not with a Creedmoor. Looking at the Model 700 Sendero II in 264 Win Mag. But for a couple hundred more can get a Nosler 48 in the same and not have to worry about it being a POS. Don’t discount the 6.5/284 or 6.5-06 if you handload. If you don’t then forget this post lol.

I’d like a nice, light 20-ga. semi-auto, camo, 24 or 26-inch barrel. Maybe an Affinity. Buddy sent me a pic of his buck with a T/C Encore. That flung a craving on me too. But I’m broker than a broke-dick dog.

6.5 Creedmoor! Never in my life have I seen a caliber loved by so many yet hated by so many. Can it really be that good & that bad at the same time??
