Summit stump. Killed a doe off of it last week and haven’t been busted yet. Tell me more about this hunt and your set up. A lot of the land up here is hardwood ridges with lots of smaller trees, so climbing doesn’t help vantage. My buddy and I both got a stump this year and have been using them every hunt. It’s lightweight and I can rig it to my backpack so I don’t even know it’s there. I can slip in and set up quietly. My my buddy has killed 4 off of it so far this year. If I want to get up and move, it takes seconds to pack it up. Do you sit out in the open with the stump? I just hang it on a tree and sit down. Haven’t felt the need to brush myself in yet.
