Absolute stab in the dark but have exhausted other options, so I'm hoping for success here. I found an electric bike in the middle of the highway this week and I'm trying to reunite it with it's owner. If any of the members have heard of or know someone that has lost it please let me know.

Try contacting the manufacturer and see if it got registered under anybody for warranty purposes. Classy of you for trying to find the owner.

Super spike, I've reached out to the manufacturer and have not heard back from them yet. I know that whomever owns the bike is having a bad week so I'm trying every resource to find the owner. Going to check with the sheriff's office when I get back in town.

Wow... So somebody got all the way home got out of their truck or SUV and realized that their expensive electric bike was no longer with them... That must have hurt.

Good for them that somebody who cares found it and good on you for working to reunite it with its rightful owners.

To add to the story, I found it at 4a.m. on the way hunting, so the poor fellow got to where he was going to hunt and went to unload his bike and bam, ain't there. He didn't even get to enjoy his morning hunt.

You have Facebook?

It's pretty good at uniting the owners of lost items.

Great move by you to try and find the owner.

However, the owner may have thrown it in the road after trying to ride it in some Alabama mud. Couple of guys were discussing this at our camp last weekend about a guy who tried one. The guy gave up after a couple of days trying it in bad mud.

BRP, it'd take effort on your part but if you haven't already you might want to contact dealers in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Huntsville that sell the specific brand. They may have leads on the owner.

Is it a camo e-bike or some other color?

As for the mud, they're not 2-wheeled ATVs able to go through anything. That's been known for a while. They'd be great for something like the refuge roads or a WMA, light mud - like puddles - but I wouldn't count on one in anything gloppy, sticky, clay-based or pretty much anything in AL-LA-AR-MS-GA.

Don't do Facebook, but if anyone here does, they are welcome to post it with a connection to aldeer thread.
Clemens, I'm trying to find out who retails these bikes but I'm out of pocket trying to kill old bed while he's got his mind occupied on his lady friends. I'll head back home Saturday and try and find the retailers. Trying to do all I can from hunting camp.

What brand is it? Is there a key in it? If you can take the battery off, look on bottom side of battery make sure he didn’t put his name on it somewhere

I wouldn't post too much descriptive info about it. Some knucklehead that wants one might get lucky enough to claim it.

I made a post on Alabama Deer Hunters on FB and offered to put them in touch with the OP.
