Reptar 6 point Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 1,062 Tuscaloosa, AL	If it is just for purposes of camping you may want to consider Roebuck. They have all the amenities a State Park offers. However, for hunting purposes and accessing Demopolis WMA you would have to lock through the dam or trailer your boat to the ramp below lock 5. I think it would only be a 15-20 minute drive from Roebuck.

Something bad happened to the deer population several years ago at lock 5 and Its still nothing like it used to be We will burn that bridge when we get there
