If there was a million dollars tied to the limb you're sitting on, I wouldn't climb up there to get it. I'm with FurFlyin - to hell with that. What type of cart do you use to tote your nuts around in or do you just use a wheelbarrow?

My first paycheck job (right out high school) was with Asplundh. I loved to climb trees, when I was a kid, but that job cured my tree climbing fetish. Of course I left that job and took up a job climbing poles.

How do you get your rope tied up there that high. I climb to the top of the tree. It is possible to set a rope using a throwball if need be. I use a saddle, safety belts, ropes, and other gear to keep me from falling and to rig to get the limbs or pieces of wood to the ground safely. The tree in the picture was very big bit pretty straight forward. I have gotten in some tricky situations though. I cut some trees once growing out of the side of a mountain off a bluff at an angle over a ladies house. I was 100ft or so over the top of her house. The tricky part was she wanted the trees left on the side of the mountain on top of the bluff. I laid in bed and thought about that one for a long time. I figured it out and got it done. There is almost always a safe way to get it done.

And I thought I was some count climbing up trees with my spurs doing some hunting. That picture is next level. I have a 50-60yr old pine that died this summer that I need to take down before it falls on my house but the boss lady is not enthused.
Good work! I can do that too. I want to say I didnt start this to advertise, I just thought alot of you might get a kick out of my daily chores. But if any money is generated through it, I will give the customary 3% to Skinny.

Hope you don’t get combed by a squirrel up there Eskimo ive had allkinds of stuff run down my back and fall out on me. I had a coral snake drop out on me in florida, ive had hawks dive bomb me, I just about stuck my nose in a honey bee hole one day. I was flipping my satety belt around over a fork in the tree, the buckle hit the tree, bees went to flying out of the hole stinging me in the face. I was about 40ft high on my way up the tree so I had to get a rope around the tree and tie in so I could get down, all the while I was getting eat up. They stung me all over the face and ears.

Climb up a 90 ft pole and get attacked by an Osprey. That'll ruin your underwear.

That’s cool walker and you’re definitely in good shape. A buddy of mine climbed trees and cut down two for me about that size. I wanted to try climbing so he let me have at it. I was in pretty dang good shape strength and cardio and it wore me out. That’s a totally different kind of being in shape!
