I have personally seen a buck come off a doe to come to the scent on a mock scrape. "I'm not near as critical about how big they are as I once was. Smiles are more important now! An old man told me one time when I was young that if you killed a stinky rutting buck to cut the torsal glands off and put them in a ziplock and put them in the freezer and you will kill another big buck. After 2 season of them nasty things sitting in my freezer, I didn’t kill no big buck. I threw that chit away and told that old man he was full of crap. It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.
