I have had young deer come in and check on scents - never had a big mature deer come in to it. Havent bought any in a couple years until my son wanted to get some and try it this past weekend. No deer came running to it but they all smelled the hangers we hung out and just kept on with what they were doing. I let him pick and he chose Code Blue - Ill report back once we have used it a time or two. I usually buy Harmons or Tinks.

I will say that we had one place that those Trails End Candles drove the deer wild for one season - we had deer walk right up to it and get a whiff - was one good 8 point killed that came into the area where my oldest son had one out. May have been coincidence but he thought it was the candle so - it was!

Had a guy at the mapco at i59 and 35 (fort Payne) give me a 1/2 bottle of some doe urine in a black bottle. Used it the next day and shot a 140ish buck. Sorry I don't remember the brand but if you hang out at that station late at night I'm sure he'll pull up again in his Chevy truck. Might involve a long conversation.

(He really was a nice guy)

Brut lol
I’ve used a drag rag with success and I will dose up a scrape every now and then, but mostly I get down wind and don’t want them to be aware of or smell anything. Imo.
I’ve killed several deer in general following my drag rag right up to my stand. In all honesty, no big deer though.
