If you build it tight enough I don't know why you would need insulation. Mine is pretty well air tight except for a few half inch gaps here and there. We used great stuff spray foam to fill in the gaps between walls and ceiling It sits out in a wide open clear cut and is painted a combo of black and green fence paint, on a sunny day like yesterday its easily in the upper 50's inside with zero insulation. Just built fairly wind tight. With insulation you would need to crack a window on a sunny day.

For sound deadening I painted my floor with wood sealer and put a stall mat in there for the season, take it out when season is over.

I thought about it but never pulled the trigger. You can get nozzles off ebay or amazon that allow great stuff foam to lay a wide band of foam

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

I foamed one a few years back, walls, ceiling, floor. It is very tight, the windows are sealed up tight with weather strips. I put a real house door on it so its pretty legit. It stays cooler then the outside temp like others have said. Thats actually a good thing most of the year in south al. I leave a Mr. buddy in there and you fire it up the first couple min. you are in it and it warms everything up and holds the heat well the rest of the time.

It makes a huge difference with the sound. I painted over the foam so its all black, you can sit in there and have a conversation with someone and the deer have'nt the slightest clue.

Last one I built had metal R panels on the outside, fiberglass batt insulation and that osb with the camo pattern on the inside.

Very quiet and warm house.

I love my country, but don't trust my government.
