Funny story about buck nuts. My dad, who doesn’t hunt, has smoked a pipe all his life. One year, my uncle killed a buck and tanned the sack for my dad to keep his tobacco in. I thought it was hilarious! Apparently the cat decided he needed it more and ended up dragging it off

We dont do blood on the face but you do get blood on your hands. We also learn real quick to.not shoot them in the stomache. The smell alone will.make you a better shot.

I inquired about taking one of our former foster daughters hunting. The process was unreal. She just "scouted".

as a fellow pipe smoker - that'd be a hard NO on the deer nut sack tobacco pouch concept ... Mason jars work quite alright for me

Congrats. For all three of my kids it was blood war paint on their first deer. I have a picture of each at the top of the stairs. Makes me smile every time I see it.

Amen to that. Hard pass on a scrotum for a pipe tobacco container. I'm sure it was a helluva funny joke tho! I actually use a jar that was my late FIL's pipe tobacco container. It is actually a set with little holders for 4 different pipes I think about him every time I light up. He left me a nice pipe too.

Coosa1 got his face smeared the right way! that's the tradition we had/have. There was not 2 fingers worth of blood on each cheek., It was 2 hand full of blood. no deer ball necklaces!
