Hope you are prepared for the child welfare visit that is looming. I inquired about taking one of our former foster daughters hunting. The process was unreal. She just "scouted".

Funny story about buck nuts. My dad, who doesn’t hunt, has smoked a pipe all his life. One year, my uncle killed a buck and tanned the sack for my dad to keep his tobacco in. I thought it was hilarious! as a fellow pipe smoker - that'd be a hard NO on the deer nut sack tobacco pouch concept ... Mason jars work quite alright for me

Hard pass on a scrotum for a pipe tobacco container. I'm sure it was a helluva funny joke tho! I actually use a jar that was my late FIL's pipe tobacco container. It is actually a set with little holders for 4 different pipes I think about him every time I light up. He left me a nice pipe too. Dr. B

Coosa1 got his face smeared the right way! that's the tradition we had/have. There was not 2 fingers worth of blood on each cheek., It was 2 hand full of blood. no deer ball necklaces!

Yeah my uncle got me good. Snuck up behind me and hit me with a double handfull of blood and stuck his fingers in my ears too.
