I bought a Rad Rover e-bike last year and upgraded the controller and display. Before the upgrade, I would have to “assist” the bike by pedaling when going up a decent hill. After the upgrade, I can go up EVERY hill on my club without pedaling one time. It’s a game changer for me as I was hauling a golf cart around which was a PITA. I can throw this one in the back of the truck and go. I can cover 10 times the ground with the bike and have ridden right up on deer and turkeys. I hunt heavily pressured turkeys and I can go all over the club without anything/anybody knowing I’m there or WHERE I’ve been. I’ve ridden 20+ miles on mine in a single day and still had battery left. They are expensive as heck but well worth it to me. It’s not for everyone but if you ever get on a good one, you’ll be hooked. So the appeal over a dirt bike is just no noise? No noise, no smell, and much lighter to throw over the fence to the property you want to piddle on. When used for hunting you can drive straight up to the base of the tree and lay it down, and you can get there fast without sweating your arse off
