I think here in Jackson county it was 74 or 75 not 100% sure about those numbers but its close

Todd, I'm real close by if you need me to go check on it for ya LOL! I'm rarely alone on a hunting trip during spring gobbler season due to the number of birds. One year we counted 22 different birds gobbling on our land. I get real popular around mid March every year. Old friends start dropping by and calling up just to see how I'm doing. LOL!

I believe it. I only got to go once last year (youth weekend at that). I quit counting at 40 birds. Land is in the middle of the red in Cleburne county. Saw more birds in deer season this past year than I did the year before.

They nailed it on Jackson County.....Sand Mountain-Poor, Paint Rock Valley-Excellent, and the rest of the county pretty good.
Some of that red area is taking up those poor frozen birds on Skyline WMA too.
