When we were younger, she got cold and I stayed hot.
Now she stays hot and I stay cold. She’s pretty much finished with menopause. But takes thyroid meds.
And the CPAP means I enter suspended animation each night and my biological processes slow way, way down.

On the distance I like to walk to my stands:

Been there, experienced all that and more. . It's the more no one is talking about we are doing without. I can put on sweat clothes when she is running the thermostat. I can forgive her for the mood swings, I can have mine too. I can forgive her for the words, I've said plenty in my lifetime. It's the more that is "hard" to accept.
