Dang, by looking at that picture I fear the chopper may have been full of kids, Gigi's teamates going to the basketball camp. I saw another article earlier that said that a former University of Houston baseball player and coach, John Altobelli, along with his wife and daughter (who played on the same team) were among those killed in the crash. https://abc13.com/former-uh-baseball-player-killed-in-california-helicopter-crash/5880911/

as a parent, the loss of the teenagers onboard is heart wrenching to hear - besides the loss of an NBA superstar & other coaches ... it's hard for me to hear about kids dying ... prayers for all families involved ...

So if a guy says it is consensual and the female says it isn’t, it isn’t rape. Gotcha.
So Mr. Defense Attorney, if a woman says it's rape, it's rape. Gotcha, Doesn't matter that this chick had recently spent time in a psych ward in the hospital for trying to commit suicide on two separate occasions just previous to this supposed rape. Doesn't matter that she was taking anti-schizo medications. Doesn't matter that she waited at the hotel for 3 hours past her shift ending for Kobe to arrive. Doesn't matter that she voluntarily made 3 separate trips up to Kobe's room that night. Doesn't matter that the panties she wore to her medical exam contained semen and a hair follicle that didn't belong to Kobe (she claims that she "accidentally" put on a pair of dirty panties). Doesn't matter that the night auditor (a woman) spoke with the accuser as she was leaving, and said she didn't look or sound like there was a problem. Doesn't matter that she was admitted telling several lies to the investigator. I don't pretend to know if he raped her or not, but I'm not going to call Kobe a rapist or sexual predator or otherwise without any other knowledge than "she said so".

I fly a bunch in Cessna and an aeronica champ but no way I’m getting in a helicopter. No way Yeah at least with an airplane and loss of power, theres some amount of glide possible.....with a helicopter you're just dropping like a rock. Which is perfectly safe if you have sufficient altitude and still have control of your rotor head.

I honestly have always thought the same. That was one of those rare times where I just couldn't get behind the so-called victim as things just didn't add up.
