Thanks guys. I’m going to be okay. It’s compression fractures. T5 and T12. They just hurt like a mutha. I didn’t post about it because I feel stupid. I shoulda hooked in at bottom. I had quit climbing but I wanted to shoot one with my bow and started back. AMB doesn’t post a lot but he was with me and got me out in his Honda Pioneer. I know it’s a pain to hook up line at bottom. But you need to. I was going to 20. I’m thankful I was only 7 feet up when it broke.
I been using a safety harness about as long as I've been hunting. But at times I got lazy and didn't hook up until I got up the tree a few feet. Then I had the bottom drop out a few years ago and it taught me a lesson. I hook up when I start climbing EVERY time now. Glad to hear you are ok.

Just a few of the reviews of their stands.....
Seat is narrow. Catches on your clothes and climbing harness which is a total pain. Top portion of the stand will NOT hold itself on the tree. This results in the top seat section falling onto the bottom of the stand EVERY time you reach up to move your tree tether up!
My first climber, but I think it’ll be my last. Where to begin... I only got 1 tether strap to secure the platform to the seat, just realizing after seeing pics that i should have got 2 straps, so quality control is an issue. Secondly, the platform is way to small, for me at least (6’4” with size 14 feet.) my toes hang over the edge even when sitting. Also the seat is constantly getting in the way when I try to stand, and the hardware in the frame is always catching my harness which 2x resulted in the seat portion falling onto the platform and scaring away deer. The build quality is good, but the design is poor overall.
Waited all season to buy this treestand. Came back every time exactly when the website said it would be available for purchase and every time it sold out. I even went as far as entering my email for notification when it was available for purchase and still it was sold out and I didn't even get any email notice either. I just finally gave up and bought a Summit Viper.

Glad you're going to be ok AC. If I was the owner of this company I would halt all sales until this issue was figured out. Looks like it is made overseas.
