I've got a very clean Ruger No 3 in 45-70govt. Has a brand new leoplod VX3 1.5x5x20 scope. Guns in good shape, both wood and blue, and its a good shooter.

I would like to trade it for a higher end bolt action in .22lr. Something like a browning a bolt, ruger 77/22, Anscutz, Kimber or pretty much anything along those lines. I've gotten back into squirrel hunting a lot more now, and I have a nicer .22mag, but it tears them up pretty bad if you don't hit them in the head.

Am still hoping I find somebody who wants to trade, but since a few people have asked, I'd do $750 on just the rifle or $1000 for the rifle and scope as it sits.

I have a nice Ruger 77/22 but since you are out of state, I’m not sure if the trade is worth the hassle of having to go through a FFL.

Which reticle does the scope have? If someone was interested in just buying the rifle I’d gladly give you $250 for the scope. Great looking rifle by the way and GLWS!!!
