We had an officer who was still on probation, with two strikes already, who decided he was bored one night so he decided to stop the Greyhound, pull everyone off and run 29s (warrant checks) on all of them. He was about half way through when the supervisor figured out what he was doing.

That was Strike Three. I hope he found another line of work.

I rode them a few times over the last 6 years. When they had a great deal like <$20 to get me 500 miles. It is ok with the USB ports and wifi. But most of the time rates are higher than cheap airfares, so I don't get that. I was able to get some work done on the trip.

I wouldn't let my wife or kids ride on in. Seems like a pretty high level of prisoners are sent out on it. Saw several come in with cuffs that were on their way back to society, I guess. Several trucking companies seem like they have one-way loads, or whatever, and send drivers back on greyhound.

BTW, I don't want authorities doing warrantless searches on my vehicles either. Can't pick and choose constitutional protections just cause some people think the ends justify the means.

I remember riding them back in the day. 27 hours was the longest ride. Had a driver piss me off one time. I had a 6 pack fixing to get on for the trip and he made me throw it in the trash. And then as we got underway and it got dark all the Democrats in the back of the bus fired up the old dope rope and the driver was constantly coming over the loud speaker telling them to stop smoking pot. But didn’t stop the bus to make them throw their weed away

I guess I'm participating in a lifetime ban on them.

I think the only time I ever rode one was to go to Montgomery for my physical when I enlisted.

Count me in, be glad to boycott them. Been over fifty years since I been on one, but I am always good for a boycott.

Rode one for a week once to national scout jamboree. The Crapper was tore up the whole week and the bus smelled like chit the whole trip. Pretty sure the ac was out also. Only time I’ve ever been on one.

That was another thing I guess all the pot smoking broke the Democrats bowels loose and had to deal with the smell
