Sure there is. Remove the baseboards and install carpet to the wall, like it's supposed to be done. Then install new baseboards like it's supposed to be done.



What the heck are you talking about? You do NOT remove baseboards on a carpet install OK? I flip and build houses for a living. I lay carpet and tile. That is crazy.

You dont even remove baseboard for tile or wood either . You just remove and put in put in new shoe mould.

ive never heard of removing baseboards as long as ive been around construction properly installed baseboards are blocked high enough off the floor the carpet will tuck under them. the standard for tile or wood floors is to install shoe moulding over the baseboard after the install.
