when are VP possibilities usually announced? After each party sets their candidate? That part of the equation makes me nervous, especially on loco joe’s side!! ...he’s too easy to declare unfit and replaced by VP.

Reread the question
Biden will announce once it is decided for him, who he needs to beat. If Bernie was a closer competition I would say Warren, but that would free up her seat in the senate and flip it R. Since it is becoming apparent, he will be beat Bernie, he can delay and announcement. The DNC now has time to "feel out" a mate to help defect Trump. Hence my list

I don't think Moochelle wants anything to do with it. She isn't much on having to lift a finger now that they are multi millionaires and still getting their bribe money coming in.

Hillary is only a reality in the eyes or Clinton deraigned republicans. Stacey Adams isn't a true contender on the national stage. Between those 4 you put up I think Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris are the only real possibilities. With Michelle Obama having no real political experience and that job being one breath away from the Presidency I think she would be out. Kamala Harris would be the pick out of those 4.
Personally I believe he does go young and with a female (the John McCain model) since he's an old white dude which apparently half the democratic party doesn't like. I think Tammy Duckworth out of Illinois or Val Demings out of Florida are just as realistic as Kamala. If he stays with a male it will be Julian Castro. Biden cant introduce anyone "new" to the stage to defeat Trump. Too risky
